Duplex 2205 Fasteners is austenitic-ferritic steel, also known as the most demanding grade with a comprehensive range of properties. Duplex 2205 has a high ferrous content of up to 64 percent, a high nickel content of up to 7%, a high molybdenum content of up to 4%, and a low rest of element content of less than 2%. Duplex 2205 is developed and designed following national and international quality standards at our infrastructure facility to attain the highest quality grade. Duplex 2205 Fasteners has a working temperature of up to 300 degrees Celsius. However, At the temperature of 150ºC, it has chloride stress corrosion cracking and hence mainly used in marine environments. Duplex 2205 cannot be welded without filler material, which might result in excess ferrite.
